A development of 12 Luxury converted apartments.

A unique opportunity to live only a stones throw from York Minster.

The development is approached from Monk Bar, which at 63 feet, is the tallest of York's bars and is the north eastern gateway to York's city walls. Many regard it as the finest way in to the walled city and the most spectacular of the bars. Monk Bar has four storeys - the first three floors being 14th century and the upper floor being fifteenth century, the upper storey added by King Richard III. Each floor could be defended like an independent fort, even when other floors had been captured. In the sixteenth century the bar was used as a freeman's prison. Monk Bar's barbican was removed from the gateway in 1825.

Ogleforth. The street is thought to be a Scandinavian name, which means the ford haunted by an owl. It leads on to Chapter House Street, which follows the line of the Roman Road that went to the great fortress of Eboracum.

York has many famous attractions and a strong tourist industry. This has helped York become a cosmopolitan city and it was voted European Tourist Destination of the year 2008 beating the likes of Venice, Valencia and Paris.

In addition York has two universities and numerous quality educational facilities. Its diversity and its outstanding culture make York one of England’s top places to live and help it maintain sound property prices and a top location for investors.
